Ümit Savcıgil, Director of Pınar Institute, is responsible for the activities of the Pınar Institute, which was established with the initiative of Yaşar Holding A.Ş in order to raise awareness of society on food, health and nutrition issues and to raise awareness of quality life.
She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Engineering, Department of Food Engineering in 1990.
She has worked at different levels of expertise and management in the Quality, Manufacturing and R&D fields of Pınar Süt Mamulleri Sanayii A.Ş. She has been a part of the Board of Directors of the Packaged Diary Products Association of Turkey (ASÜD), the Baby Food Industrialists Association (BEBESAD) and the İzmir Branch of the Turkish Quality Association. In addition, she has worked as an appraiser and chief evaluator in the Aegean Region and National for many years at the Turkish Quality Association.
