Sheryl Loke oversees Mountain Hazelnuts’ partnerships and communications, establishing key stakeholder relationships, as well as undertaking comprehensive social and environmental impact reporting. She has more than 10 years’ multicultural international development experience across the United Kingdom, Bangladesh, Moldova, Kosovo, Syria and Barbados. Most recently, she has led the development of Mountain Hazelnuts’ strategic partnerships, including with Yiga Chocolate, a female founded Bhutanese start-up which uses high quality, locally sourced products to produce hand-tempered artisanal chocolate products. She is also leading the Company’s collaboration with a well-established Bhutanese CSO to launch a funding window targeting entrepreneurs, especially female-led businesses, along the hazelnut value chain. She holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, and a MSc in Social Policy and International Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
