Douja Ben Mahmoud Gharbi, has more than 20 years of entrepreneurial experience. She has a long professional career as an entrepreneur and manager. A serial entrepreneur, she has created and managed several companies in various sectors: industry, services and commerce. She has also been an expert on entrepreneurship, and a counsellor and mentor for more than 10 years, trained and certified by UNIDO and ITPO Bahrain. She is the co-founder and CEO of the accelerator RedStart Tunisia.
Passionate and committed to economic development and entrepreneurship, Douja is very active on a voluntary basis within DAMYA-Tunisian Women Business Angels Network, which she co-founded and chairs, the CEDE Association – Centre d’Entrepreneuriat et de Développement Endogène – which she chairs, the international association FPAM – Finance Participative in Africa and the Mediterranean – where she is Vice-President, the WBAF – World Business Angel Forum – where she has been nominated as Senator for Tunisia since 2018, and member of the WBAF Global Women Leaders Committee. Douja is also a founding member of CONECT – Confédération des Entreprises Citoyennes de Tunisie – in charge of CSR, entrepreneurship and employment projects.
